Seeking an experienced Search Engine / PPC Marketing Manager with a proven track record of success to join our SEM team. Your primary responsibility is to help us improve our online lead generation tactics using Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Center, MSN Ad Center, et al. You will strive to increase the quality of our leads while reducing our costs through smart bid management, regional targeting campaigns, A/B and Multivariate testing, developing lead-focused text ads, experimenting with new keyword sets, etc. This is an ideal position for recent AdWords certified individuals to provide groundwork research and campaign analysis for client search marketing efforts.

General Duties:

  • Create, execute, and manage PPC campaigns to deliver quality leads for our clients; this includes everything from idea conception to writing ad copy and launching the ad campaign.
  • Work on increasing conversion rates, lowering overall costs, and improving the quality of client leads.
  • Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction based on analysis
  • Stay abreast of changes in the online marketing environment and trends to best serve the objectives of our organization.
  • Design and recommend short and long-term online lead generating strategies for new client campaigns.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years experience with third party bid management and analytics software. Proficient in Omniture SearchCenter, Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing, Microsoft AdCenter, Google Ad Editor, and Omniture SiteCatalyst.
  • Knowledgeable in search engine optimization, keyword research, landing page conversion tactics, and SEM metrics (CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL, CPA).
  • Experience with optimizing search engine marketing campaigns through ad development, keyword research, landing page optimization via A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Self motivated, self starter with passion with the ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
